Joost Beerwerth-Schippmann

Mr. Beerwerth-Schippmann has many years of experience in training and advising works councils. After studying at Humboldt University in Berlin and Columbia Law School in New York City (USA), he worked in the legal department of the Federal Executive Board of ver.di and the Berlin Data Protection Commissioner. In addition, he taught and researched for many years as a research assistant at the Chair of Civil Law and Labor Law of Prof. Dr. Florian Rödl (M.A.) at the Free University of Berlin.

An important focus of his work is English-language consulting in the context of international companies and groups. He advises, trains and represents works councils, central works councils and group works councils on all collective bargaining law issues. English-language advice and representation of employees and executives also plays a major role in his practice.
